Land Use Regulations

These Regulations are made in accordance with the Town Plan, and designed to lessen congestion in the streets, secure safety from fire, panic and other dangers; to promote the health and general welfare; provide adequate light and air, to prevent overcrowding of land; to facilitate provisions of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks, and other public facilities; to encourage the most appropriate use of land; and otherwise to carry out the purposes set forth in Article 16 of the Town Law.
