Dog Control Officer

The Dog Control Officer is responsible for the safety of the general public to maintain the dog population within the Town of Wayne while following state regulations and laws along with local law. 

Please contact Our DCO if you have concerns or to report dog related issues.  In the event that the DCO is unavailable contact our Deputy DCO.

Annual Rabies Clinic
The third Saturday in June
June 15, 2019    1 - 3 pm
Town Barn
Free of charge, though voluntary donations accepted. Open to all county residents. Rabies vaccinations are for dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets. All dogs must be on leashes. All cats need to be confined to a carrier. Animals must be at least 3 months of age to receive rabies shots.
